The author has done a
wonderful job of interlacing the Hindu mythology with the Indus Valley
civilisation. The story is well narrated and characters are well developed
with twists and turns which leaves you
hooked till you read the last chapter. This book takes you on a beautiful
journey of Shiva, his struggles in discovering his true self, his efficiency as
a warrior and his undying love for Sati. It is a perfect mixture of fiction and
ancient facts. This book is a perfect read for all the mythology lovers. The
twists and turns in the book would keep you glued to it.
The description of places like Meluha, Karachapa, Swadweepa and Ayodhya is so
spectacular that the readers are transported to
the beautiful and well-planned cities of ancient India. The author has given so
much life to the protagonist of this book – Shiva. With each turn of the page,
you will like his character more and more. The first part of the
series ends surprisingly well, and heightens the reader’s interest to a level
that makes you jump onto the second book as soon as you’re done with this.
