The Secret of Nagas starts from where the
first book ended. When you pick the book after reading The Immortals
of Meluha, you can’t wait to know about the mysterious Nagas who attacked Sati.
Shiva's mission to find the evil and destroy it continues in the second
book. He has to avenge the murder of his dear friend Brihaspathi and identify
the mysterious Naga who is chasing Sati. The book keeps on speeding ahead with new
revelations, every chapter was
revealing one mystery while creating another side so the curiosity to keep
moving to next chapter was intact.
New characters like Ganesh, Kartik and Kali are introduced into the
plot. Old alliances are broken and new ones are forged. Friends
turn enemies and enemies surprisingly become friends and guides in
this suspense-dripping novel. The love story of Anandamayi and Parvateshwar
adds a romantic angle to this nail-biting thriller.
The sequel is as good as the first book, with the only difference
being that this one is more loaded in suspense and
nail-biting moments than the first one and it ends with a nice twist and yet
keeps the readers hanging for the part three of Shiva Trilogy.
